bold new world-

coming to terms
with a new
identity.
bold new world-
not new; just late.
a shapeshifting outsider
who hangs out in deserts
recently
came o u t
confused and afraid-
a small piece of freedom
testing the waters
what's good
can't stop crying
yet the sky still hasn't fallen.

ace still in the deck
screaming in the void.
